Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has expressed his concerns about the need for more pace and creativity in his forward line over the last few weeks.

And the loss of Angel di Maria to PSG has brought into sharp focus an area of the squad which has traditionally been Manchester United’s strong suit.

But, according to latest reports, Louis van Gaal is in for not one but two exciting attacking talents:

Pedro

Manchester United have been strongly linked with the player and Barcelona confirmed on Tuesday that the player had asked to leave the club where he has spent his entire career, because he wants more gametime. The statement also read that he will be granted his wish if the buying club triggers his release fee of 30m Euros.

Pedro can play anywhere along the front line but his most likely position at Manchester United would be on the right flank. He’s quick and scored at a rate of 1 in 3 for Barcelona. He’s not extravagant, but a highly efficient player and a great team player.

Last night he was quoted as saying:

“I’m calm, happy and I will always continue giving everything if I continue at this club. Manchester? Yes, there are nice challenges on all sides.

Nicolas Gaitan

Zenit-Benfica_(6)The idea that there is no smoke without fire in the transfer market has been tested to the limit by this lad. Linked to Manchester United since before mobile phones were invented he is again on the radar according to reports.

And we think that there might be something in it. Louis loves a left footer and this could be a like for like replacement for Di Maria.

Again, Gaitan doesn’t have the individual skill of his compatriot but is more of a creator for others and a good team member. At 27 he should be coming into his pomp. He has 9 caps and 2 goals for Argentina.

Let’s see the lad in a action.

Manchester United fans: Are these two good enough to win United the title?
