The international break is a source of inner turmoil for every real football fan.

Whether you follow the Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, or the Bundesliga, you deserve a medal for sitting through such a horrifically pointless and mundane fortnight.
Man Utd v Arsenal
Even better than that, though, all four leagues are offering up some tasty derbies this weekend.

Manchester United v Arsenal

Manchester United might not be the force they once were, but a clash with Arsenal at Old Trafford is always one of the highlights of the season.

Arsene Wenger’s side don’t have the best record against the Red Devils when playing away – they haven’t won there for ten years – but Jose Mourinho has countless injury problems, especially in defence.

Atletico Madrid v Real Madrid

Over in La Liga, it’s the battle of the two Madrid giants. Surprisingly, Real don’t get the rub of the green when it comes to playing Atleti, and as it’s at the Vicente Calderon, it could be worth backing Antoine Griezmann and co, as opposed to Cristiano Ronaldo and his league-leaders.

Borussia Dortmund v Bayern Munich

The title race is also well and truly on in Germany. Dortmund are languishing in fifth, so it’s essential they make the most of their chance to peg back Bayern. As predicted, Carlo Ancelotti is finding life in the Bundesliga pretty easy, but that could change this weekend.

AC Milan v Inter Milan

AC have to be massive favourites for this. The story of two sleeping giants, but one starting to rouse. The Rossoneri’s young side face Stefano Pioli’s rejuvenated Inter, who won 3-0 last time out against Crotone, but AC will be a much bigger challenge.

It’s worth keeping an eye on how Milan’s youngsters rise to the challenge of the derby, as they try and close the gap on Juventus and Roma ahead of them.
