We should of course be weary of over eager sources jumping the gun on summer deals, but latest indications point toward a deal for Manchester United and the brilliant Brazilian playmaker Roberto Firmino. The Daily Star says:
HOFFENHEIM midfielder Roberto Firmino has agreed a deal to join Manchester United, according to reports.
As a refresher, Firmino’s agent last week stated that:
“All I can say is that he will move to England,”
And this deal now looks like a very real possibility. Firmino has had a brilliant season. He has scored 10 goals in 36 games from midfield for Hoffenheim and has had a real breakthrough campaign for Brazil, for whom he has played 8 times and scored an impressive three goals since his debut in 2014. He is currently starting games at The Copa America for the South American international side.

This is a player who never stops moving. A rich man’s Shinji Kagawa who makes things happen, is very hard to shackle and makes the game easy for his team mates. He also scores loads of goals making him one of the hottest properties in the game right now. So Manchester United’s early move may prove very prudent indeed.
His addition to the Manchester United squad would raise big question marks over the future of Juan Mata, with Adnan Januzaj also desperate for more minutes in the centre of the attacking midfield.
But we think it would be a great signing for Manchester United. Let’s take look at him in action. United fans: a steal?

With what i have heard about Firmino, i have no doubt he would be a good signing. Another area wwe need urgent attention is the defensive midfield as Michael getting old, we need a back up for him.
