We think the Manchester United fans should be very excited about the last four games of the season.
It would’ve been quite the opposite had David Moyes remained in charge of Manchester United.
But it will be extremely interesting to see how the club legend, Ryan Giggs, sets out his team to play. You would imagine, for all the world, that he would put an attacking line up out.
We think that he will go with the old guard in defence and reinstate Nemanja Vidic and Rio Ferdinand at the back – Giggs is not a guy who is necessarily building for the future but simply trying to play his best team and restore some feel good factor for the last four games – he may even feel that he is auditioning for the manager’s job now and/or in future.
The midfield should be very interesting and we assume that stalwart Michael Carrick will play. And, as a winger himself, you might expect him to play with some proper wide men down the flanks. That should mean a start for Antonio Valencia.
It’s hard to imagine that Adnan Januzaj doesn’t excite Giggs so perhaps he’ll put him on the left side in the absence of an out and out left winger.
We would love to see Giggs play Juan Mata in the centre of the Manchester United midfield as a new creative force.
This would also give him the opportunity to squeeze Danny Welbeck and Wayne Rooney into the side up top.
Finally, we hope that he finds a place for himself, at least on the bench.
So, fitness permitting, this is what we think Giggs’s first Manchester United team will look like – and we wouldn’t be at all surprised if this is United’s biggest win of the season.
Manchester United fans – please feel free to tear this suggestion to tiny little bits and give us your suggestions.
Manchester United: (4-4-2) De Gea, Evra, Vidic, Ferdinand, Rafael – Januzaj, Mata, Carrick, Valencia – Rooney, Welbeck

Giggs gets lucky with the straightforward fixtures at the end of the season but his excessive desire to get back to a mythical wonderland of United’s yesterday does the club no favours and is a sop to fans who will accept a victory against an awful Norwixh side as evidence that the current team only needs the right coach. Envy one will be happy nail next season but the lib will not prosper without the fundamental adjustments that Moyes has already identified in Ferguson’s legacy. For Giggs or the truly dreadful Ferdinand to play would be a mistake. The clean out will come soon enough and is long overdue. Giggs and his cronies served the club well but their time has long gone and Giggs has absolutely no credentials as a coach other than being part of the United old boys network.
Time to move on

Kagwa, Mata, Januzaj, Chicha have an impressive growing chemistry. I would prefer: De Gea, Evra, Vidic, Ferdinand, Rafael – Kagawa, Mata, Carrick, Januzaj – Chicharito, Rooney. Sub Welbeck for Chicha if it doesn’t work.

DeGea
Rafael Evans/Smalling Jones Evra
Valencia carick januzaj
Mata Kagawa
Rooney
Replacements need to be found for Evra, Ferdinand, Vidic, Nani, Anderson, Young.
Carick can play as a substitute for one more season i guess but it should not become like Paul Scholes case.
Bring in the young blood & gradually phase out the players in 33, 34 & 35 etc.
