Manchester United are in all sorts of problems right now.
As well as the ongoing managerial issues, they are certainly short of drive in the team. The performance against Chelsea was perhaps an improvement but its going to take a lot more than this for Manchester United to turn the corner.
Manchester United are clearly ready to spend in January to improve their chances of silverware and a top four finish, and there can be few better options than the excellent young creator Felipe Anderson.
Various media outlets have got involved with this story this week and The Daily Star writes (via La Republica):
Manchester United are set to launch a £33m bid for Lazio star Felipe Anderson, according to reports in Italy.
We have been blowing this lad’s trumpet for some time and feel that he would be perfect solution for Manchester United, adding drive and speed to the midfield and forward areas.
Anderson can play anywhere behind he striker or in midfield. He’s lightning fast, has two great feet, scores goals and at just 22 he has time to become a world star.
Lazio won’t want to lose the player but if his form continues apace then he is unlikely to stay there for too much longer.
Manchester United need to move fast because, with Anderson making his debut for Brazil this year, his profile is growing fast.
Let’s take a look at him in action.
