The London Evening Standard, who regularly gets the inside track on the transfer movements of Tottenham and other London clubs, has reported that Spurs are keen on the brilliant young Fulham forward Mousa Dembele.
Spurs head coach Mauricio Pochettino is understood to be an admirer of the Fulham striker and is following his progress closely. The 19-year-old has scored eight goals in 18 appearances this term, including five in his last five games.
The 19 year old Frenchman has shown great maturity in The Championship this season, scoring 8 goals in 16 games for the struggling club. And he is already a big physical presence despite his tender years.
His contract runs out at the end of this season and if he doesn’t sign a new deal with Fulham then there will likely be a transfer scramble for his signature.
And The Standard feels that Tottenham could be among the most serious suitors for a player who is quickly working his way up the youth ranks for France.
Let’s take a look at the lad in action.
Tottenham fans: do you feel that Dembele would be another good young addition or do Spurs need to add more experience to the team now?
