Manchester United and Tottenham are reportedly amongst a clutch of clubs who are interested in signing Valencia winger Sofia Feghouli according to reports in Italy.
Respected Italian media outlet Corriere Dello Sport says Tottenham and Manchester United are keen on a player who is able to speak to other clubs from January 1st.
‘On him there is Tottenham, but other clubs have asked for information or have heard offers (Manchester United, Roma …).’
He’s a free agent next summer and apparently isn’t sure whether to extend with Valencia or move on.
The 25 yea told 5ft 10in Algerian has played 35 times for his country as a winger and hit 9 goals.
He hasn’t been quite as prolific in La Liga but has chipped in with his fair share of goals over 4 and a bit seasons with Valencia, averaging over 6 goals a season.
And it’s his creativity and speed which will most interest Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal.
Still not at his peak this is an interesting option for Manchester United and Tottenham.
Valencia are currently involved in a tight group in The Champions League group stages. They sit in second in the group with Gent just 2 points back in 3rd.
The player’s immediate future may depend on whether Valencia progress.
