We like the look of Tottenham this season.
Not just because they are starting to put some nice football and good results together.
But the profile of Mauricio Pochettino’s squad is also very exciting.
Unable to compete with the very top echelon of clubs for the best players in their pomp, MauPo has been brave and attempted to bring in the stars of tomorrow.
And all of Alli, N’Jie and Son Heung-min have given Tottenham fans reason for optimism.
And the latter is now back in contention after 6 weeks out with a foot problem after an excellent start to his Tottenham career.
Quite how they all fit in to MauPo’s plans remains to be seen. But he has the sort of options now that may well see Spurs get into the top four and also have a really long run in Europe this season.
Tottenham’s best XI is a match for anyone in this competition – the big challenge is to maintain a largely healthy squad through such a lengthy tournament.
But, by putting out a strong team as expected, they should win tonight to give them a good feeling going into the derby at the weekend.
