Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino is quietly doing a great job at Spurs and we think that he has so far bought and sold well.
So if he makes a shock January move for Jamie Vardy, as some sections of the press are suggesting today, then many of the Tottenham fans will trust his judgement.
The Mirror reports:
Tottenham plotting surprise January swoop for Leicester City hotshot Jamie Vardy
Our favourite memory of the 28 year old, who has recently forced his way into to the England squad, is of him tearing Manchester United apart last season.
In truth, everything fell Leicester’s way that day but United simply couldn’t cope with Vardy’s industry, energy and pace down that right flank.
Vardy may offer Tottenham another interesting wide option for the squad with his running power and deliveries.
But he has come to the fore this season more as a central striker and leads the goal scoring charts with a remarkable 10 goals in 10 games in this campaign.
Overall he is an adaptable and hard-working forward who has surprised many with his technique and may well prove to be an attractive proposition for the Tottenham boss, who is building this squad nicely.
Let’s take a look at vary in action.
