This Manchester United Star Needs to Lose Weight according to study suggestion

Nonsense

He looks as if he hasn’t got a spare gram of fat on him but, according to an NHS study, Manchester United’s new signing Memphis could do with shedding a few pounds.

They say:

“if your BMI is 25 or more, you should think about losing weight.”

In a list which includes the like of Branislav Ivanovic, John Terry and Tim Howard, Memphis comes in just over the recommended limit with 25.2% BMI

Apparently, however, the big drawback of such a measure is that it doesn’t distinguish between fat and muscle.

So, even though Memphis shouldn’t necessarily be going on a diet, it is the sort of further negative publicity that he could well do without at a time when his form for Manchester United has been questioned.

But we fully expect the Dutchman to become a superstar at Manchester United after he recovers from his teething troubles.

Memphis was demoted to the bench for the commanding win at Everton at the weekend but we think that his energy will be employed from the start against CSKA in The Champions League on Wednesday night.

Fans should remember that even Cristiano took time to settle at Manchester United.
