Chelsea fans will be a little shell-shocked by events so far this season.
But at least it’s not boring.
And, despite a yawning gap between The Blues and Manchester City at the top (10 points), any outcome is still possible.
Because Chelsea have the quality and over 80% of the season to find their form and start reeling the leaders back in.
As for Aston Villa they find themselves in all too familiar territory.
Just a couple of months into the season some poor results have heaped pressure on their new manager and his odds to win the sack race keep shortening.
But Aston Villa, like the manage, are not short of guts and will see this as a great time to come to Chelsea.
In times past you could put a lot of money on Chelsea winning this 2-0.
But the beauty of this year’s league is that the old cliche most definitely applies – anyone can beat anyone.
So we look forward to a cracker
