Chelsea returned to winning ways against Aston Villa but they were far from their fluid best and few would be surprised if Jose Mourinho went back into the market in January for reinforcements.

The striking department may be one area that is considered by Chelsea as senior back up strikers Loic Remy and Radamel Falcao have so far looked sluggish this season.

The Sun reports:

JOSE MOURINHO is chasing Valencia’s £50million striker Paco Alcacer.

The 22 year old Valencia man has been on fire for the last year or so, making his way into the Spain full international side and scoring 6 goals in just 10 games for his country.

In total he has scored 33 in 105 club games but he’s been getting more prolific by the year.

He very much looks like the next big thing in Spain and Chelsea would do very well indeed to snap him up ahead of one of the Spanish giants.

Let’s take a look at him in action.
