Jose Mourinho being linked with Chelsea players is nothing new. The Portuguese pulled off a major coup when he lured Nemanja Matic from his old club in the summer, with the midfielder having proven a major success since his arrival at Manchester United.

The Red Devils are set to infuriate Antonio Conte even further if the Sun’s latest report is to be believed, with Eden Hazard rumoured to be next on the Special One’s radar.

The playmaker has rarely been linked with other English club, the consensus being that is he is holding out for a potential move to Real Madrid.

It’s claimed Mourinho thinks it would take around £90million – a British transfer record – to beat PSG and Real to the Belgian.

The pair’s relationship has come under scrutiny in the past, with Hazard failing to perform in the manager’s final season at Stamford Bridge.

Nevertheless, United may be buoyed by the fact that he has already turned down a £300,000-a-week contract with the Blues.

The 26-year-old will spent the summer at the World Cup in Russia, which on the one hand could complicate any move. At the same time, it is set to give him a chance to shine at the very highest level.
