Looking good

Manchester United have proven already this season that they will be much harder to beat as Louis van Gaal has strengthened his midfield and defence.

And the game against Brugge on Tuesday proved that they are starting to click in attack also.

We believe that LvG now has 6 players who will always play when fit.

Luke Shaw

Used a fitness coach while on holiday in the summer and has come back looking like a monster.

Has had a brilliant start to the season for Manchester United and is now the undisputed number one at left back.

Chris Smalling

Has come on in leaps and bounds this season and looks as if he may have ironed out the one big mistake per game which Manchester United fans had become accustomed to. Nailed on starter with his pace and aerial ability.

Matteo Darmian

What a buy! This guy already looks as if he has been playing for Manchester United for years. A great defender but also superb going forward. Pace, precision and intelligence. One of the buys of the summer for any club.

Bastian Schweinsteiger

While Michael Carrick has been bit off the pace and Morgan Schneiderlin is still finding his feet, we are starting to get the sense that Basti is getting up to speed in the Manchester United midfield. He will play whenever fit.

Memphis Depay

Power, pace, guile and magic in the boots. This is the sort of player who can make things happen in deadlocked games. A real game changer and a perfect number 7 for Manchester United. Nailed on starter when fit.

Wayne Rooney

Question marks over his early season form. But doesn’t that happen every year? The captain will improve and play whenever fit.

i don’t think rooney should be an untouchable, he is not that good, the fact that the media will kick a fuss if he is dropped, is what’s keeping him in the team, and it’s costing us. sir alex realised that and was about to let him go, and bloody moyes came and gave him a contract
