Exceptional Talent

Manchester United’s Ed Woodward has been, and will continue to be, a very busy man in August.

Having had a baptism of fire with David Moyes a couple of years ago in the summer transfer window, he knows that the buck ultimately stops with him in relation to summer acquisitions.

Because he is the deal closer and Manchester United fans expect more signings this summer.

It was to the consternation of many that United didn’t go for Nicolas Otamendi, with the Argentine international now destined for neighbours Manchester City.

But perhaps their plans never included the 27 year old. Because many areas of the media suggested this week that Ed Woodward was in Spain not just to complete the Pedro deal but also to scout one of soccersweep’s favourite young players.

The Star says:

Man United chief has secret £36.5m (51.8m Euros) second reason for Pedro transfer trip

MANCHESTER UNITED supremo Ed Woodward checked on Athletic Bilbao defender Aymeric Laporte last night.

We have always been huge fans of this lad and feel that he would be the very best choice for Manchester United at centre back. Because he has so many qualities.

He has the youth and ball playing ability of John Stones. But he has the power and no nonsense defending skills of Nicoals Otamendi. He’s also really quick and reads the game beautifully.

At 21 he may represent something of a gamble. More likely he will take a little time to settle at Manchester United.

But with Smalling and Blind performing so well together right now, and Jones and Rojo as back up, Laporte could have all the time he needed to settle.

But within a couple of years this lad would be a superstar for Manchester United.

Let’s take a look at him in action.

Manchester United fans: would you like to see him in the red jersey?

Comment:Man Utd only arise the curiosity of the FANs but never really materialise their objectives. Any way,I think they’ve done some Good business this summer. But if actually they can bring in Saido Mane, then,UTD will be the TEAM to beat this season. How ever it goes,”keeping my fingers crossed”.
