Although Manchester United have already signed 5 players this summer, at a cost of around £80m, we feel that the most exciting business of the window could be yet to come.
Manchester United brought Angel di Maria to the club on August 26 last year and Radamel Falcao came even later.
And it is at the end of the window where the posturing ends and much of the serious business is done.
So how will Manchester United look by September 2nd?
Well there is a definite sense that Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal wants to add pace and creativity to his front line.
With exciting youngsters like Andreas Pereira, James Wilson and Memphis Depay at the club we think that Louis is likely to purchase some more experienced stars for this season.
We would absolutely love him to bring Marco Reus to the club – he is a bona fide superstar – but there has been no real speculation about this one happening.
If reports are to be believed then Manchester United are more likely to bring Nicolas Gaitan and Pedro to the club.
There is a suggestion in the media that Gaitan would cost 39.5m Euros and Pedro has a release fee of about 30m Euros.
For these sorts of figures you would expect that these two lads, should they sign, would go straight into the first team.
If Louis continues to play Memphis Depay in the hole behind Wayne Rooney then perhaps we should expect the starting line up to look something like this come September.
It may mean that Juan Mata and Ashley Young are the ones to miss out.
Note: We wouldn’t be at all surprised if a centre back is also added.
Manchester United fans: a good enough team to challenge for domestic and European honours?

For a starters Otamendi is a must, then i possible i would prefer Reus instead of Gaitan, but if the Reus transfer cannot happen then i would prefer United stick with Depay and bring in Lewandownski along with Pedro!
