Tottenham have a premium goal scorer in the shape of Harry Kane. But we believe that they can still add quality in the wide areas to make him an even more potent threat in front of goal next season.
The second season can of course be tough for a young player in The Premier League, as canny defenders work out the movement and tricks of the forward. So Kane will need all the help he can get.
We like Nacer Chadli and Erik Lamela has shown real quality in spurts. But how about adding to the roster with the considerable talents of Yannick Ferreira Carrasco ? The Metro reported this week:
Tottenham have made a £9.9million transfer offer to sign Monaco ace Yannick Ferreira Carrasco, according to reports.
Just 21, he’s already turned out 3 times for a Belgium side enjoying a golden generation. He’s also played 105 times for Monaco already (20 goals) since he graduated to the senior side in 2012.
He’s a modern winger in as much as he loves to float inside and use his shooting prowess to score as well as create goals.
While some Tottenham fans may be hoping for celebrated and experienced arrivals this summer, we applaud Mauricio Pochettino’s spirit in trying to bring superb youngsters to the club. And Carrasco looks like a thrilling addition to the squad.
Let’s have a look at him in action. Tottenham fans: keen on the lad?
