Farcical: The truth about Ramos to Manchester United

Oh Ramos really wants to leave this time. It’s the final straw. He’s definitely leaving Madrid. There is absolutely NO WAY BACK. He wants to join Manchester United. His DAD supports The Red Devils for goodness sake!

Really? What a load of absolute PONY…

We think that the truth of the matter is that the player simply wants a better deal at Real Madrid. Despite all the posturing and threats, he doesn’t want to leave Madrid. The fact that it’s such a high profile name and such big clubs involved has made this a big story.

But, in our opinion, the Spaniard is simply using Manchester United to get what he wants. The Daily Mail seems to have a decent persecutive on this one when they say:

Ramos, 29, left for a holiday telling the club that he wants his future resolved by the time the squad meet on July 10 before Real’s tour to Australia and China.

Meanwhile Marca reported:

Club and player have reached a truce which is the first step towards an agreement that will keep them on the same page

Get Lost Ramos

Get Lost Ramos

It’s embarrassing enough for Manchester United to be used like this. What would be even worse is if United actually fell into the trap of buying him. Because if we were Real Madrid, we would bite the hand off any club willing to pay £46.5m for Ramos.

With the superb Raphael Varane waiting in the wings, Real Madrid would laughing so hard they they might not even make it to the bank.

This is a lose lose situation for Manchester United. If Ramos signs a new contract at Madrid then United have been made a mockery of. If he joins the Old Trafford club United will have wasted enough money to sign two top quality players in their early to mid-twenties.

The whole thing is a joke.
