Last season Manchester United hosted Swansea in the first game of the campaign and many to most thought it would be a straightforward win for the reds. The shock defeat set United off on the wrong foot and things took months to improve.
Perhaps the home draw against Tottenham will help the club to guard against any sort of complacency this time around. It’s a great way to kick off the season and Old Trafford will be buzzing. Three points against Champions League challengers will give United great confidence as they attempt to scale the peak of English football once more.

Liverpool at home on 12th September who, incidentally, have a really tough start to the season.

The run in
Manchester United will expect to make more of a fist of the title chase this season and their run in will give them a great chance of silverware if they are still in it come April.
