If reports are to be believed Manchester United have made a bid for the Brazilian centre back Dante of Bayern Munchen. We report that The Express reports that Kicker reports:
MANCHESTER UNITED have reportedly made a ‘concrete offer’ for Bayern Munich defender Dante
The report suggests that Bayern Munchen, who want to sign Angel di Maria, may hold out for some kind of swap deal. We know that Di Maria hasn’t had the best of seasons but this would have to be one of the most underwhelming swaps of all time!
At 31 Dante has played 13 times for Brazil since his debut in 2013 and won The Champions League with Bayern a couple of years ago. In that respect he is a late bloomer. A big lad of 6ft 2in he currently knows how to deal with aerial threats. But we have seen him make too many mistakes down the years to feel confident that he’s a big upgrade on what Manchester United already have.
Let’s take a look at the lad in action. Manchester United fans: Is Dante the sort of quality addition that United need or should the club wait for a younger option to become available?
