This one is exciting. Tottenham have some decent players out wide. We like Chadli and Lamela but they both still have to prove themselves in the long term. Meanwhile Andros Townsend and Aaron Lennon seem to be permanently frequenting the rumour mills.
So what about another top winger then? We are still to see a player even attempt to take the place of Gareth Bale on that left side but Yehven Konoplyanka has the sort of dazzling pace and guile that the fans would love. The Daily Mail reckons that Tottenham are keen on the adaptable forward:
Tottenham Hotspur have renewed interest in Ukraine winger Yevhen Konoplyanka.
The 25-year-old is out of contract at Dnipro in the summer and Spurs have begun talks.
He’s played 40 times for The Ukraine, scoring, 8 goals. And at club level he has been a constant threat for his club Dnipro, with 41 goals in 189 club games over 8 seasons.
He looks ripe for a move and we think that there is very little not to like about this lad, from Tottenham’s perspective. He brings pace and penetration to the front line.
Let’s take look at him in action. Tottenham fans: a worthy investment or do you already have enough quality in the wide areas?

The way Wenger performs when signing players, there isn’t much chance of him getting this one inside a week.
