Manchester United ODDS ON favourite with bookie to sign new midfield sensation

Louis-van-gaal2

A very exciting talent

This is an interesting one and a transfer that we could definitely see happening under the new Manchester United manager.

As most of you will know Robin Van Persie scored a fantastic goal for Holland last week against an Ecuador side captained by fellow Manchester United star Antonio Valencia.

You may also know that the exquisite pass that set up Van Persie’s goal was made by young Holland midfielder Jordy Clasie.

The 22-year-old has made a real impression in Holland since making his debut couple of years ago and has earned the nickname The Dutch Xavi.

He’s already played seven times for the Dutch national side and will be involved in The World Cup under Manchester United’s Louis van Gaal.

While an 18 year old prodigy can go either way, it’s pretty safe to assume that a 22 year old sensation is likely to fulfil all of his potential. This definitely seems to be the case for this classy operator.

So suffice to say Clasie is likely to get snapped up soon and Manchester United may be in pole position for his signature with the latest managerial developments at the club.

Certainly Skybet think so and have Manchester United as odds-on favourites to sign the young playmaker at 4/7.

With so many positions needing to be filled this summer, even the quoted £150m budget may be stretched to the limit. You would imagine that Clasie would represent a bargain as a creative midfielder who is yet to rise to prominence but has all the potential in the world.

Let’s have a look at him in action. Manchester United fans: could this Feyenoord star do the business instead of expensive alternatives such as Cesc Fabregas or Toni Kroos?

Who cares what the bookie has to say. Their view is purely commercial and for advertising purposes. They succeeded in the latter so far with this article!
