Is going to be a very interesting few months for Manchester United. If any of England’s elite clubs spend big over the winter window then you imagine it will be Manchester United.
They look to be putting their seriously poor early-season form behind them but they are still work in progress under David Moyes. As he gets his feet under the table he will look to imprint his own style and playing staff onto Manchester United.
There appear to be plans afoot to sign a creative midfielder at some stage but today’s press links Manchester United with a forward. The Daily Express quotes a young player as saying that Manchester United have shown an interest in him.
The France U21 international and Real Sociedad player Antoine Greizmann has told the press:
“I know that some English clubs are looking at me and Manchester United is on that list. It’s nice to hear that but it doesn’t influence my work.”
Griezmann, who has come up through the junior ranks at Real Sociedad, added: “Ryan Giggs is one of my football heroes. But now Wayne Rooney to me is the main man at Manchester United.”
The 22-year-old, who plays mainly as a left winger, has made 155 appearances for his current club scoring 37 goals since his debut in 2009. He is also turned out for France at every level except as a full international.
Let’s have a look at him in action and leave you to make up your own minds about whether the player could be a Manchester United star.
