Manchester City are happy to let Samir Nasri leave this summer, according to Sky Sports.
Pep Guardiola was unhappy with the players’ fitness levels when he arrived at the club, with the Frenchman understood to be one of the main culprits.
In fact, he even made the midfielder train on his own, running laps around the City training ground. Guardiola has revealed he has since lost some of that weight, but it doesn’t seem like he’s going to be part of his immediate plans.
Three Serie A outfits, AC Milan, Inter Milan and Roma, are all keen to give Nasri a crack away from the Premier League, where he was previously with Arsenal.
City want £17million, which in today’s market seems a reasonable price.
The 29-year-old has had his injury problems at the Etihad, but if he can stay fit, whoever takes him on will be hoping he can rediscover his eye for goal.
