Chelsea offer Diego Costa to two clubs

Chelsea have offered Diego Costa to Napoli and Inter Milan as they try and make space in their squad for Romelu Lukaku, according to the Sun.

Blues boss Antonio Conte is intent on bringing the Everton striker to Stamford Bridge, though he must first find £75million to convince the Toffees to let him go.

Costa is believed to be unhappy at Chelsea following a relatively unsuccessful season in which he scored just 12 goals.

The club have therefore been offering him to the Italian duo, but they might not have much luck.

Inter would only be interested in a new striker if they allowed Mauro Icardi to leave, and all the indications are that he wants to stay at the San Siro.

Napoli, meanwhile, may have already lost Gonzalo Higuain, but they’ve quickly replaced him with Arkadiusz Milik from Ajax.

The 22-year-old could do with another strike partner, particularly an experienced one like Costa who can help him develop.

The Spain international will be well aware that Chelsea are touting his services which means getting a deal done is an absolute imperative.
