Tottenham Hotspurs are ready to enter into a battle with Everton over the signing of West Brom forward Sadio Berahino.
Mauricio Pochettino has been alerted to the fact that Everton are ready to launch a bid for the England Under-21 star.
Spurs saw a series of bids for the West Brom striker turned down last summer by club chairman Jeremy Pearce but the North London club are certain to launch new bids for Berahino.
Berahino has scored 23 goals in 98 Premier League appearances for the Baggies, but has had an indifferent season following his return of just four goals in his last 28 appearances.
The striker was forced to apologize to West Brom fans in February after he reacted angrily to his side’s refusal to allow him leave the Hawthorns last year.
