Chelsea

English Premier League club Chelsea have agreed with Adidas to cancel their contract with the kit sponsors, six years early.

Adidas has been a sponsor of Chelsea since 2006 reached the agreement with Chelsea because of their change in strategy and operation.

The contract between the two parties which should have ended in 2017, will see Chelsea pay the German kit sponsors some compensation fee for cancelling the deal earlier than its expiry date.

“We would like to thank adidas for their fantastic support and cooperation over the past 10 years,” read a Chelsea statement.

The West London club unveiled what turns out to be their new kit from ADIDAS ahead of next season, last week, which caused a lot of displeasure from fans due to it’s hideousness.
