Chelsea has failed with their initial £23million bid deal to seal Radja Nainggolan’s transfer move from AS Roma to the Stamford Bridge.
The Belgium international has been one of Chelsea new manager, Antonio Conte’s target for the summer as he looks forward to build a formidable side for a title challenge next season.
However, the Blues have to up their initial bid by meeting the demands of AS Roma.
Roma insists they are determined not to sell their star players, with club president James Pallotta supposedly holding out for at least £32m for Nainggolan, according to the Guardian.
Chelsea could be short in midfield as Serbia international, Nemanja Matic has hinted, he could part ways with the club this summer. The likes of Manchester United and Juventus are all keen on securing his signature.
The Blues won the English Premier League last season, but have been a pale shadow of themselves this season still struggling to finish at a decent position.
