Tottenham Hotspurs midfielder Moussa Dembele has been banned for six games in the Premier League by the Football Association.
The towering midfield enforcer was involved in a brawl with Chelsea players, particularly his action of gauging the eyes of Diego Costa.
Although it happened on the blind side of the match officials, the action was captured on video and prompted the FA to charge the player.
After accepting the charge, Dembele has been dished a massive six match ban by an independent regulatory commission.
Dembele will miss his side’s last two games in the top flight and a further four in the opening fixtures of the 2016/2017 season.
