Chelsea new boss, Antonio Conte is confident of landing the signature of the Napoli hit man Gonzalo Higuain this summer.
The Italy manager, Conte is said to be a big admirer of the Argentine front man, who has scored 32 goals out of 33 Serie A games and 16 more than Paulo Dybala who is second on the goal scorer’s chart.
According to The Mirror, that form has caused Conte to conclude that Higuain is the ideal forward to bolster Chelsea’s attacking ranks.
The report adds that the 28-year-old is likely to cost the West London giants about £45 million.
However, if the blues are able to secure his signature, it is said that it will pave way for Diego Costa to reunite with his former club, Atletico Madrid who is said to be keen in signing the Spaniard again.
