Italian Serie A winners, Juventus have reportedly closed the gap of completing the signature of Chelsea and Serbian midfielder, Nemanja Matic with a deal worth £20 million.
The 26-year-old rejoined the Blues from Benfica in 2014, and played a vital role in Chelsea’s success last season.
The Serbian has however been the shadow of himself as he struggles for form this season.
It is understood he will be allowed to leave the club this season as incoming manager, Antonio Conte prepares to revamp the squad.
According to The Express, Juventus and Chelsea have agreed a £20 million move for the defensive midfielder, who is said to be keen on a move to the Italian champions.
Even with Matic’s decline in form, he has made 39 appearances for the blues this season.
