Manchester United are reportedly preparing to give Jose Mourinho £300m to spend on transfer when he becomes the new United boss.

Jose Mourinho has been linked with the move to United since his sack from the Blues of Chelsea in December 2015, however reports says that, the Portuguese is at the verge of dislodging current boss Louis Van Gaal.

It is believed that the Red Devils will announce the arrival of Jose Mourinho in next two weeks and attention has shifted to his spending power on the transfer market.

According to the Daily Star, the Premier League giants will hand over £300m to Mourinho, who could consider moves for Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Paul Pogba, Edinson Cavani and Raphael Varane.

Current boss, Louis Van Gaal has spent £250m in his two-year spell at the Old Trafford and are yet to qualify for the UEFA Champions League with five games remaining.

The Red Devils will take on the Eagles in the FA Cup finals next month. United is slated at the fifth position and are dive points adrift Arsenal.

Replacing LVG by Mourinho would be the biggest mistake the club has ever done and I promise you by the end of his second season, the club will be again looking for his replacement due to his style of football that doesn’t suit the club’s style of play and also putting into consideration his behaviour and recruitment style, he will leave no legacy or team for his successor until the club learn to trust and give enough time to someone who has got guts to promote young talents. I agree we lost much learning time during Alex Fergusons’ time because we thought he will be there for ever, not knowing that we should have used that period of 28yrs to groom not only players but capable individual’s to be managers of the club.

Keep LVG for another season or two, if not give Giggs 5 seasons.
