Barring late snags, the name of Sam Byram will soon be added to the playing roster at Goodison as Everton have reportedly agreed a fee for the inordinately talented Leeds right-back on Thursday.

The BBC reported:

Leeds United have accepted a £4m offer from Premier League side Everton for right-back Sam Byram, reports BBC Radio Leeds.

Sambyram

The 22-year-old has has a fantastic career so far and really been ahead of schedule for most of it.

Since he signed professional terms for Leeds in 2012 he has made a remarkable 142 appearances for the Yorkshire club and scored a really creditable 10 goals from that right flank.

The Essex-born defender is yet to make an appearance for England at any level but his move to Everton will surely give him the platform to kick on in terms of his international career.

He’s quick, industrious and rarely gives the ball away. He also has a nice delivery and, as such, isn’t too dissimilar in style to the driving full-backs that Everton already have at the club.

Let’s take look at the player in action.

Everton fans: is there any short-term prospect of him getting into the first team ahead of the excellent quality that The Toffees already have in that department?
