After another somewhat hit and miss season so far for Everton they may look to strengthen again in the transfer window. That have made a couple of signings so far in Matty Foulds and Shani Tarashaj but neither will play a big part in first team matters this season with the latter loaned straight back to Swiss club Grasshoppers after the deal was announced.
More teeth in attack is always an attractive proposition and Everton have been linked with a very interesting player in the latest news cycle.
The Express reports:
Everton to complete £21m swoop after Norwich deal
The ever keen publication suggests that Andriy Yarmolenko will replace the outgoing Steven Naismith, who on his way to Norwich:
EVERTON will make a £21million offer for Dynamo Kiev winger Andriy Yarmolenko once they have sold Steven Naismith, according to reports.
And The Daily Mail suggested at the weekend that Everton are wary that his transfer value could shoot up after EURO 2016 and also stated at the weekend that:
Everton are preparing a bid of £21million to sign Dynamo Kiev winger Andriy Yarmolenko.
The 26-year-old Ukrainian international has been banging in the goals for some time.
He has 22 in 55 for his country but is known as much as a winger as a centre forward.
And he has been equally impressive in his 9 years at Dynamo Kiev where he has hit the net 108 times in 282 games.
Roberto Martinez has always been a fan of wide players and this guy also offers the sort of adaptability that will suit a side without a wealth of number 9s.
We think that he would be a magnificent signing for Everton and give them another, genuinely threatening point of attack, which can also help the other forwards thrive.
But Everton may have competition for his signature so will need to be decisive if they want to get this one over the line
Let’s take a look at the international in action.
