Arsenal

Chelsea in fascinating transfer link for pacy forward

Oxlade-Chamberlain

Great Talent

There has been a lot of talk this week about the future of Chelsea’s player of the year Eden Hazard.

After an amazing season last year, he has failed to repeat the trick in this campaign and is still to find the net after scoring 19 last year.

There is a sense that all is not well with the player and Chelsea, but things should become much clearer in the summer.

If he does leave the club, Chelsea are reportedly lining up a fascinating replacement.

The Sun reports:

Chelsea target Arsenal’s Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain as a replacement for wantaway Eden Hazard

Oxlade-Chamberlain

We have always been huge fans of the England international but, despite breaking onto the scene 5 years ago, he has still failed to nail down a spot in the Arsenal first XI.

He hasn’t been helped by persistent injuries but we still feel that he has been underused by The Gunners and he could, at some stage, decide that he wants more first team action.

The England international has played 143 times for Arsenal and scored 13 goals. He has also been a favourite of Roy Hodgson, when fit, and has 24 caps and a far better goal scoring return of 5 goals in that period at international level.

Let’s see him in action.
