Make or Break

Another shocking display at the weekend, albeit with a United team heavily weakened by injuries.

Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal will simply hope that he has some of his players back in time for the Norwich game at the weekend (Kick Off 15:00 GMT, Saturday 19 December, Old Trafford).

Because, a home defeat to the struggling Canaries would surely force a rethink from the top brass at Manchester United, who may currently still think they have a genius at the helm.

The silver lining in this current cloud is that Phil Jones made a cameo appearance after his latest injury and Morgan Schneiderlin was also on the bench at Bournemouth.

The energy of both was sorely missed at the weekend and we think that both will start at Old Trafford on Saturday as a way of freshening up a forlorn football team.

Other players who may return include Wayne Rooney, Matteo Darmian, Ander Herrera and Chris Smalling though the former may have to wait until Boxing Day for his competitive return.

Up top we still have the suspicion that Anthony Martial would have more space and do even more damage on the left with the pace and power of Memphis causing trouble in the centre forward position, where he scored against Watford.

With all this is mind here is our early stab at the Manchester United team for the weekend. A win is absolutely vital.

United fans: let’s have your teams

Its only that you guys want instant results, give lvg support and in two seasons you will be praising him like never before. he is building a team that will dominate for ten years

Comment:he is very useless coach despite the fact that his philosophy doesn’t work well without doing anything better for the team. He sells players like nani, Rapheal, chicharito di Maria and others in the name of building strong team. God will punish u lvg
