It’s sink or swim time in The Champions League and we hope that, whatever the result tonight, Manchester United don’t have any regrets about their performance.
Because this should be a game where Manchester United assert their superiority from the off, instead of cautiously waiting for something to happen, as we have seen so many times this season.
Manchester United fans will be pulling their hair out if LvG shows the opponent too much respect.
Wolfsburg have a good record at home but were beaten by Dortmund on their own patch at the weekend – a team which isn’t even in The Champions League.
So, with a quarter of a billion spent on this team, the fans should at least expect some purpose and attacking football RATHER THAN THAT PAINFUL, PROLONGED AND POINTLESS PASSING BETWEEN THE CENTRE BACKS.
It’s making me mad just thinking about it. Less of the anti-football Louis. Let’s have some thrills and spills to take home with us tonight please.
