Manchester City vs Borussia Mönchengladbach, City of Manchester Stadium, Kick Off 19:45 Local Time

Subs: Caballero, Maffeo, Sagna, Adarabioyo, Celina, Navas, Bony

A win will give Manchester City a fighting chance of taking top spot in Group D.

Juventus are two points clear in the group, after defeating City in Rome in the last round.

But the Italians face a tricky trip to Sevilla who can still qualify for The Europa League if they win and Manchester City beat Borussia blah blah.

The form of the English team has not been great over the last few weeks but head coach Manuel Pellegrini can at least point to a terrible injury list which has regularly included some of his star players.

One such star, Sergio Aguero, is sidelined tonight and his ruthlessness in front of course will of course be missed.

But we maintain that if Manchester City can get up a head of steam they still have one of the best forward lines in Europe and can beat anyone on their day. This game should be a home win.
