Fixture: ARSENAL vs Manchester City, The Barclays Premier League, The Emirates Stadium
Date: Monday 21st December 2015, Kick Off 20:00 GMT
Injured: Danny Welbeck, Francis Coquelin, Tomas Rosicky, Jack Wilshere, Mikel Arteta, Santi Cazorla
Doubtful: Alexis Sanchez
Foreword: It would be the game of the weekend if it wasn’t on a Monday night. This game finds Arsenal on the up once more, after a brilliant performance in Greece, which saw them safely through to the knockout round and a glamour tie against Barcelona.
The Gunners are in excellent form right now but you just never know what to expect from Arsenal from game to game. Perhaps the result of this one will rest on the fitness of the superb Alexis Sanchez, who is a slight doubt after being out for a couple of games but should make the squad for this fixture at the Emirates which can take Arsenal back to the top of the table.
Both teams love to attack and this one could be the best fixture of the Christmas period. Both will be going for it because, at this stage of the season, a defeat wouldn’t be terminal.
Prediction: The safe money would possibly go on a draw but you just never know what to expect from City or Arsenal.
