But a few months into the season ex-Barca man Pedro has almost disappeared into the shadows.
And with Willian playing out of his skin right now, we wonder whether the Spain international has simply swapped one bench for another.
Pedro can play in the middle or on the left. But Chelsea have Hazard left and a bevy of potentially top number 10s in Oscar, Kenedy and Cesc. With Willian the obvious solution on the right at this point the Spaniard must be concerned about his prospects.
