One of the great elements of football is that things can change so quickly.

A few months ago Chelsea were everyone’s favourites for the league and Diego Costa was one of the best strikers in the world.

But Chelsea and Costa have gone badly off the boil. With a manager as driven as Jose at the helm, you just know that heads will roll if things continue.

And The Daily Mail reports that Chelsea are to join the hunt for Harry Kane in the summer:

Diego Costa’s future at Stamford Bridge is in doubt following spat

..if Tottenham were to show any indication they’d be willing to sell, then Chelsea are ready to throw significant resources to land the forward.

Costa scored 21 goals in 37 games for Chelsea last season but only has 4 in 17 so far this term.

Meanwhile, after a slow start to the campaign Kane has 9 goals in 18 games to add to his 31 in 51 for last season.

The young England international is proving that he is much more than a one season wonder and Tottenham will find it increasingly hard to hold on to him if they don’t reach the Champions League – however, on current form, Spurs are more likely to get there than Chelsea right now.

Kane also has 8 caps and 3 goals for England in what promises to be a brilliant career.

Let’s see him in action.
