The Europa League can be a little trying for teams with that Thursday fixture allowing only a short recovery time before the domestic games at the weekend.
But successful teams play a lot of games – simple as.
And Tottenham would be crazy not to take The Europa League seriously this year – particularly as it now represents another chance to get into The Champions League.
We think that it should be very much a priority for Tottenham and they need to pick a strong side to travel to Anderlecht for this one.
Tottenham drew a hard fought game against Liverpool at the weekend but the result allows the positive momentum to continue.
This is a young side which is really beginning to excite.
There are still substantial injury concerns with Chadli, Carroll, Son, Mason, Bentaleb and Pritchard all highly unlikely to recover in time for this one.
However some of them could be available for the weekend.
Chadli was replaced by Clinton N’Jie on 11 minutes at the weekend and he did enough to keep his place in our XI.
Other than that it’s a similar line up to the one which could easily have taken the points at the weekend, with a rest for Lamela and Dier coming in to add solidity in this away tie.
Tottenham fans: let’s have your elevens
