Manchester United looked as if they might have turned a corner before the Arsenal game.
Top of the league for the first time in a couple years and looking compact, if still lacking a little fluidity.
But they will want to consign that horror show to the history books with a good performance against and improving Everton side at Goodison this afternoon.
Ross Barkley has to be the danger man for Everton after the 21 year old has shown great form for club and country over the last few weeks.
He’s always had the talent but not always the consistency required to win games for his team on a regular basis.
Both teams will look to get forward early – Everton with their swashbuckling flank play and Manchester United with their more controlled attacking which has become a feature of the Louis van Gaal reign.
We are yet to see whether this style will pay dividends in England.
But we are predicting a belter.
