Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho was clearly pleased by the instant impact that Pedro had on his debut.
In what was a whirlwind transfer Chelsea took everyone by surprise by doing the deal last week and Pedro looks as if he can do the business for The Blues.
We still wonder whether he might struggle with the physical side of the game in England.
But West Brom are no shrinking violets and he fared well against them with a goal and an assist – albeit both a bit fortuitous.
But he demands more minutes and he will start again when Chelsea take on Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge on Saturday at 15:00 local time.
Oscar has been out with an unspecified knock but he may well be fit again for Saturday. Normally, in this sort of game, Fabregas would play alongside Matic and Oscar would play at number ten.
But Oscar’s chances may well be limited now that Pedro has arrived. Jose Mourinho must decide who makes way.
We can assume that Pedro and Hazard will start. So does he drop the ever useful Willian or Oscar?
We think that the latter will struggle to get into the side on his return and, given the choice, we would certainly go for Willian.
So Hazard goes in the hole and Willian on the left. Let’s see how that works.
