The 24 year old has been an increasingly important member of the River Plate set up over the last 4 years.
He joined the club from FC Dallas in 2011 and has gone on to make 72 league appearances and scored a notable 6 goals.
The defender’s form has not gone unnoticed by the Argentina national team who gave him his first cap this year.
As you would expect from an Argentinian this guy is a solid and tough defender. But he also has nice feet and will not struggle with the technical side of The Premier League.
With the future of John Stones still up in the air, now seems like the right time to stock up on defenders and this lad can have a long term impact at the club.
