Every once in a while we do a bit of voluntary promotion for a player who we believe has everything it takes to make it the very top.
One such player is Sporting Lisbon star William Carvalho.
He was something of a prodigy when he first came on the scene a few years back. And he was expected to make a move to an elite club by now. Perhaps Real Madrid are to become the beneficiaries.
His release fee of around 45m Euros has largely deterred his suitors but Real Madrid are said to be keen to bring the lad to El Bernabeu this summer.

Now 23, this lad has the lot.
He’s a two touch magician who keeps things moving in the middle and has a wonderful range of passing.
But he is also a physically imposing player who, a little like Yaya Toure, looks unfairly bigger than anyone else around him.
If his release fee had been a little smaller then he would surely have been snapped up already.
Because the likes of Manchester United, Arsenal and even Barcelona could use the talents of the Portugal international of some 13 caps.
