This one looks like very good news for Manchester United.
Reports from Spain suggest that, in the face of fierce competition from the clubs in England, Barcelona forward Pedro looks likely to join Manchester United after a 22.8m fee was agreed between the clubs.

Man United have agreed to pay Pedro’s £22.8m release clause with the Spain international expected to sign a four year deal at Old Trafford this summer.
With Angel di Maria looking likely to leave Manchester United this summer, the club will definitely need more quality out wide and Pedro offers that in bucket loads.
What’s more it would be difficult to find a player who would better suit Louis van Gaal’s preferred system of 4-3-3.

That said, the Dutch man has been playing a 4-2-3-1 so far in pre-season and this may mean a slightly different role for the Spanish World Cup winner.
But, wherever he slots in, Manchester United will be signing a top quality player in his prime.
At 27, Pedro has a huge medal haul. He’s won 5 La Liga medals, 3 Copa Del Rey trophies, 3 Champions Leagues, The World Cup and The European Championship twice.
It would be difficult to find too many more decorated players in the modern game but the hunger of the Spain international seems as great as ever.
It would have been easy for the lad to stay and continue his success as a squad player at Barcelona but he wants to play more and he should be granted that wish at Manchester United.
