With such a strong squad already it’s not completely clear who else Chelsea will attempt to sign this summer.
After one patchy season Filipe Luis could leave the club and Chelsea may then look for another left back.
Other than that we think Jose is on the look out for another midfielder and possibly a winger.
Perhaps the latest player to be linked could fill in at both positions. Because Belgian star Axel Witsel is a player of myriad talent and The Express, amongst others, has reported:
Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich pushes for Axel Witsel transfer as AC Milan rule out move
Witsel joined Zenit St.Petersburg from Benfica in 2012 and has been a success wherever he has played. He also has 57 caps and 6 goals for Belgium since his debut in 2008.
He is known as a defensive midfielder but has 12 goals in 77 games for Zenit and is a lovely player to watch going forward too. So while the obvious position for him would be alongside Nemanja Matic in a 4-2-3-1, he could do a job for Chelsea in several positions.
He’s quick, technically excellent and a great athlete.
We believe that, while it’s not easy to envisage exactly how the player would be deployed, he would be an excellent signing for Chelsea and one which would genuinely strengthen the squad even further.
Because a player of Witsel’s talent is not going to let anyone down.
Let’s take a look at the lad in a action.
Chelsea fans: is he a necessary addition?

Comment:i agree with The Special one for Axel witsel but for pedro’s option we have Willian and Oscar so we don’t need him.
