Good buys

Manchester United’s transfer business has suddenly gone into overdrive. We look at the agreed deals and who else the club is targeting.

Memphis Depay

First through the door this summer. Was unveiled officially on Friday.

Bastian Schweinsteiger

A very high calibre signing whose move happened very quickly. Manchester United have confirmed the agreement for the player, subject to a medical.

Matteo Darmian

We expect this one to be completed this weekend after Louis van Gaal confirmed that the player is joining the club.

Who’s Next?

Morgan Schneiderlin

It seems that it won’t be long before he joins the club, if Southampton and Manchester United agree on a fee. They are still said to be some way apart on valuation but Schneiderlin wasn’t named in the squad for The Saints’ pre-season friendly against Valencia on Saturday afternoon.

After that?

Anyone’s guess. The Independent reckons that Manchester United will mount bids for Harry Kane and Thomas Muller. Meanwhile the search for a commanding centre half continues with Nicolas Otamendi and Sergio Ramos the most likely targets right now.

Manchester United fans: who would you most like to see through the door at Old Trafford next?

Meantime, let’s have a look at Schweinsteiger in action. CLICK FOR BASTIAN
