Real Madrid have been unusually quiet in the market so far this summer but don’t expect that to continue for too much longer.
They are in a complex position with their centre forwards. While some believe that Benzema has become surplus to requirements others think that Cristiano Ronaldo may start up top next season as number 9.
Either way we feel that Real Madrid will need to sign another striker. Chicharito was the back up last year but Los Blancos opted not to take him permanently.

At 31 RvP has been a sensation in England. He was the main man at Arsenal for 8 years before spearheading a title success in his first season at Manchester United.
He has lost some of his pace and, with it, his ability to find the pockets of space that he used to find so naturally. But he would still be a better bet for Real Madrid than Chicharito next season. He’s much more of a complete centre forward and may even get in the team ahead of Benzema.
He is seemingly unhappy with being on the bench at Manchester United and may not take kindly to being left out of the Real Madrid side.
But if Real can convince him that his future lies at El Bernabeu then they will have done a very interesting piece of business indeed.
